CMS Version Monitor

Automatic update detection for your CMS

Automatically monitor the installed CMS version of your website and get instantly notified when updates are available. Supports TYPO3 and WordPress with configurable notification thresholds.

CMS Version Monitor

Why CMS Version Monitor?

Outdated CMS versions are a security risk. Keeping track of all websites manually is time-consuming – especially as an agency with many client projects. The CMS Version Monitor automatically checks whether updates are available and notifies you immediately.

Automatic Detection

The monitor regularly queries the configured version endpoint and compares the installed version with the latest available version. Fully automated, without any manual effort.

TYPO3 & WordPress

Full support for TYPO3 and WordPress. For TYPO3, you can additionally configure whether you want to be notified about bugfix, minor, or only major updates.

Instant Notification

As soon as an update is detected, you receive an email notification with the installed and available version. This allows you to act immediately.

Features in Detail

Configurable Version Endpoint

Specify the path to the version endpoint of your website. This makes it work flexibly with different CMS configurations and custom endpoint paths.

Configurable Version Endpoint

Notification Level for TYPO3

For TYPO3, choose which update type you want to be notified about – Bugfix (e.g. 12.4.1 → 12.4.2), Minor (e.g. 12.3 → 12.4), or Major (e.g. 12 → 13). This way you only receive alerts relevant to you.

Basic Authentication

For protected version endpoints, optionally enable Basic Authentication with username and password. This allows the monitor to work with secured staging or production environments.

Monitor List with Update Badge

The overview list shows the currently installed version, the latest available version, and – when an update is available – a prominent update badge for each monitor. See at a glance where action is needed.

Technical Details

Version Endpoint

The monitor queries the configured endpoint and reads the installed version. The response is compared with the official version data of the respective CMS.

Semantic Version Check

Versions are compared semantically (Major, Minor, Bugfix). For TYPO3 you can precisely control at which level a notification is triggered.

Secure Authentication

Basic Authentication is securely transmitted and stored. This allows even protected endpoints to be monitored without risk.

Choose Your Plan

All plans include access to all monitoring features. The difference lies in the number of monthly tokens and maximum monitors.
